REVOLUTION CONCEAL & DEFINE – FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Introducing Revolution Conceal & Define, a concealer for everyone.
The entire range consists of 25 shades varying from the fairest of fair to the deepest of deep. This vast colour range also comes in a mixture of undertones; cool, neutral and warm, so there is something for everyone!
This lightweight formula is synonymous with the Too Faced ‘Born This Way’ concealer, only with a matte finish rather than a radiant one, and they’re not drying under the eyes like you might expect with a matte finish.
Revolution says it’s a full coverage concealer that will counteract dark circles, cover blemishes and even out skin tone. I have concealed a blemish well using a shade suited to my skin tone from this range and I have to say I was impressed, it wasn’t anymore drying in that area than my high-end concealers – you can always expect a little when covering a blemish but in fact, it sat rather well.
Having had a play with them on my face and my arm, I can confirm they do offer good coverage with definite staying power. It was hard to remove the swatches.
What I like about the formulation is that it’s not too thick. Many concealers are, and this means they tend to be relatively drying underneath the eyes which cause that dreaded crepey appearance. It didn’t produce creases when blended in with my fingers, I haven’t tried a heavier application as yet, but note, the more you layer products the more likely they are to crease.
After a while of wearing the concealer my under eye area became a little chalky, which is often the case when I try out drugstore formulations, although, this is one of the better ones I’ve tried. For the price, I’m not going to complain.
These concealers are fluid enough to be worn anywhere on the face, as well as used to contour & highlight with. They have a doe-foot applicator which is larger than most, but great for covering bigger areas in one swipe.
They are cruelty-free & vegan-friendly, and you get 11oz / 3.4ml for only £4.00!!!
Let’s get to the shades;
C0 – Pure white – I would use this to lighten other shades, or used as an eyeshadow base to intensify colour pay-off. I often use the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk for this but you can definitely try this concealer, it will have more than one use.

C1 – For fair skin tones with neutral undertone (Usually, veins in your arms will appear both Green & Blue)

Overall, for £4.00 I’m excited to see these in drugstore / high street shops! Influencers on social media are comparing them to the likes of Tarte Cosmetics’ Shape Tape concealer, which, as you know, has been and still is the go-to product for those with £22 to spare. But for those of you who don’t, you now have a fantastic alternative at just a fraction of the cost… no matter your skin tone, there is ‘a concealer for everyone’.
